Giant Krab

Giant Krab is a Miniboss in Derelict. Created by the Avarus Empire, these massive mechanized war beasts utilize their crushing claws to devastating effect.

To kill a Giant Krab, you must first deplete the health of any 2 legs. This will cause the Giant Krab to collapse and be stunned for a duration. Its head will then be vulnerable to attack, dying when its head health is depleted.

Movement and Battle Strategy

  • AoE attacks such as these abilities can hit more than one leg at once or even hit its head directly:
  • Even though Giant Krabs have a robot like appearance, they are not immune to Status Effects. By using a Crimson Blade you can deal major damage ignoring defense.
  • Hitting a Giant Krab twice in the leg and running away will usually cause the Floor Carver attack or the Leap attack. This is effective to separate a Giant Krab from their group or to lure them to better terrain.
  • Due to how the Giant Krab's legs are always touching the ground to make their head level will cause some buggy movement. It may be a good idea to lure them to flatter terrain where movement might be less buggy.
